At just 19 years old, Ryan Nguyen, professionally known as Lil Ryry, is quickly establishing himself as one of the young artists to watch coming out of Pasadena, Texas. A rapper since the age of 14, Lil Ryry has spent years developing his sound, stage presence, brand, and work ethic—and now he is taking that foundation beyond Texas.

A Class of 2026 graduate, Lil Ryry has already shared stages with some of the biggest names in Texas and Southern hip-hop, including Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Baby Bash, Lil Keke, Z-Ro, K-Rino, Foe Mob, NB Ridaz, Juan Gotti, Yungstar, Lil Xan and many more.

His performances have taken him throughout Texas, and he has also made his mark through community events. Lil Ryry has performed at the Back 2 School Drive at Johnny Dang's Jewelry location in Houston, an event dedicated to giving back to children and families by providing backpacks and school supplies to kids in need. He is returning to the event this year, where he will share the stage with Bun B, Paul Wall and other major artists.

Lil Ryry's ambition extends well beyond performing locally. He has traveled to California to work with renowned producer DJ Flippp, whose production and collaborations include artists such as Trippie Redd, Boosie BadAzz, Lil Yachty, Shoreline Mafia, Sauce Walka, Don Q, Playboi Carti, AzChike and Smokepurpp, among others.

That California trip opened another major door when DJ Flippp's collaboration post featuring Lil Ryry helped create an opportunity for him to work with Kinfolk Jon, a Los Angeles-based producer/DJ whose credits include Lil Uzi Vert, Larry June, Odd Future, GloGang, Kidd Keo, Kee Nola, Doobie, 2KBaby and Lil Xan, among others.

Lil Ryry recorded four songs through those sessions, with some expected to appear on his highly anticipated debut album, Young & Paid.

Set for release August 22, 2026, Young & Paid represents a major milestone in Lil Ryry's young career. The project is being released both physically and digitally, while a Chopped & Screwed sampler has already been released under the name Ryan Nguyen, giving listeners an early taste of what is coming.

Lil Ryry's growing catalog also includes collaborations with artists such as Blueface, Peso Peso, Powda and Anna Maze, and he continues to seek out new collaborations as he travels and expands his network across the country.

In December 2025, Lil Ryry officially signed with Hustlaz Playground, under the management of Houston music executive, promoter and manager Manuel "Mo Hustle" Rodriguez. Since signing, Lil Ryry has rapidly increased his performance schedule, traveling throughout Texas while building the foundation for his next chapter.

Now he is taking that movement on the road with the Young & Paid Tour, bringing along Texas veterans and respected names including Yungstar of the Screwed Up Click, Juan Gotti, Nfd Haze and many more. The tour is expanding beyond Texas, with dates planned in Colorado and Hawaii in September 2026, as Lil Ryry continues introducing his music to audiences across the country.

What makes Lil Ryry's story stand out is not simply his age—it's the momentum he has created in a relatively short amount of time. From performing alongside Texas legends and national acts, to recording with producers connected to some of today's biggest artists, to building his own tour and brand, Lil Ryry is creating opportunities rather than waiting for them.

With Young & Paid on the way, a growing catalog of collaborations, an expanding live-performance resume, and a tour taking him from Texas to other parts of the country, Lil Ryry is entering the next phase of his career with one goal in mind: keep working, keep traveling, keep growing, and get paid while doing it.
